Job Description

Senior Structural Engineer / Director of Engineering needed for a key leadership role with a growing Florida engineering firm specializing in structural design, building restoration, forensic engineering, and milestone inspections. This is an exciting opportunity for a licensed PE to serve as the technical authority for the office, lead a talented engineering team, and make a meaningful impact on the firm's long-term growth and operational direction. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Senior Structural Engineer / Director of Engineering position include: Bachelor's or Master's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, with Master's preferred Active Florida PE license required, with SE preferred 7+ years of structural engineering design experience with building structures 3+ years of building restoration and/or forensic engineering experience Experience with Florida Phase 1 and Phase 2 Milestone Inspections Strong knowledge of FBC, ASCE, ACI, AISC, and structural software such as RISA, RAM, ETABS, ADAPT, SAFE, and/or Revit Serve as the lead PE for the office while managing engineering operations, supervising staff, and providing technical leadership Prepare and review drawings, calculations, MasterFormat specifications, reports, RFIs, submittals, field observations, and forensic investigation findings
Salary :
Competitive, commensurate with experience.
