Job Description

Lead the operations of one of Southwest Florida's most prestigious beachfront condominium communities and play a key role in maintaining a luxury residential environment for high-net-worth owners. This Chief Building Engineer opportunity is located on Marco Island, FL, overseeing a premier beachfront condominium with luxury residences, offering the chance to manage major capital projects, building operations, and a dedicated staff team within an exclusive gated community. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Chief Building Engineer position include: Engineering degree or comparable facility management / HOA building management experience required Florida CAM license required or willingness to work toward obtaining one Manage day-to-day building operations, maintenance, repairs, and capital improvement planning Lead building staff, vendors, contractors, procurement activities, and project execution Oversee operating budgets, reserve planning, bidding processes, and basic accounting functions Develop and maintain preventive maintenance programs for mechanical, electrical, HVAC, cooling towers, elevators, roofing, landscaping, and other building systems Read and interpret drawings, specifications, and project documents while managing major construction and renovation projects Work closely with the Board of Directors, ownership group, and stakeholders while coordinating meetings and owner communications
Salary :
$140,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
