Job Description
- Local candidate is highly desired for this role
- General Description Entry level Project Engineer I will develop, manage, and/or execute all phases of the construction planning/scheduling/cost effort for one or more large, complex and demanding projects.
- Assist with onsite field measurements and installations.
- Interacts w/subcontractors as required.
- Assist with maintenance of the project schedule including materials, equipment, and subcontractors.
- Places orders for materials and ensures delivery.
- Creates and sends all transmittal letters and keeps log of dates sent, returned and approved.
- Schedules and arranges for equipment moves on and off the job.
- Prepares change orders and claims for review by Project Manager.
- Participates at the final acceptance of the project (with the Project Manager).
- Responsible for maintenance of safe working environment.
- Must be organized, attentive to detail, and able to multitask/manage competing deadlines.
- Ability to travel occasionally to attend meetings and conduct site visits/inspections.
- Other duties as assigned.
