Summary:
This position is a construction industry position that will assist the Project Manager and the Superintendent, providing administrative and technical services in the fields of scheduling, cost engineering, subcontract coordination, and general project administration. Knowledge of Primavera P-6, Procore, Microsoft Outlook and Microsoft Office experience preferred.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
General Project Support Assist Project Manager & Superintendent with daily duties and operational activities. Help maintain safe and compliant work sites. Keep track of employee time, quantities performed, and site correspondence. Purchase materials for projects as directed by the Project Manager or Superintendent. Work in both field and office environments; occasional travel may be required. Demonstrate the ability and desire to grow into a Project Manager or Superintendent position. Meetings & Subcontractor Coordination Conduct pre-construction and progress meetings. (OAC/ Subcontractor/ City officials) Attend job site meetings, maintain detailed meeting minutes, and distribute them to subcontractors, clients, and city officials. Coordinate regular meetings with subcontractors, project owners, and internal teams. Project Documentation Certify, review, expedite, write, and track material submittals and Requests for Information (RFIs). Review all catalog cuts and material submittals for full compliance with plans and specifications. Maintain, update, and distribute official construction documents (Plans, RFIs, ASIs, PRs, etc.). Maintain & update Procore (core & Management tool- Director, plans, daily logs, photos, etc.

Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities:
Working knowledge of construction practices, methods, building trades, RFIs, RFPs, product submittals, bid analysis, and scope/specification development. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, Excel and Word, Adobe Acrobat or Bluebeam. Proficient use of computer-aided engineering and drafting software. Ability to develop, maintain, and monitor project baseline schedules for large-scale construction projects using Primavera P-6 software or Procore Schedule. Hands-on experience utilizing Procore Construction Management software platform.Education and Experience:
Bachelor's Degree or equivalent in Construction Management / Construction Engineering, OR a Construction Management Certificate from an accredited university preferred. 1-2 years of experience as a Project Engineer or similar role with a general contractor. Direct experience managing Submittals and Request for Information (RFI) processes . Experience working on multifamily projects valued at $10 million or above is preferred.Essential Job Functions:
Ability to perform essential functions of the position with or without reasonable accommodation Ability to drive between job sites and use own or company vehicles and equipment to perform job functions. Valid Driver's License required Physical ability to work at a computer in two-hour increments to perform data entry and requiring hand and eye coordination Ability to read and effectively communicate with fellow employees Ability to walk through rough construction sites and lift 50 pounds from the groundPhysical Requirements:
