The firm has a long-standing reputation for delivering structural engineering services across a diverse portfolio of commercial, residential, hospitality, institutional, mixed-use, and high-rise projects . This opportunity is well suited to an engineer looking to take greater ownership of projects, client relationships, and technical delivery while continuing to progress toward senior leadership. Responsibilities Manage structural engineering projects from concept and design development through construction administration. Lead the analysis and design of concrete, steel, masonry, and other structural systems . Work on a variety of building projects, including mid-rise and high-rise structures throughout South Florida. Prepare and review structural calculations, drawings, specifications, and technical documentation. Coordinate structural design with architects, contractors, owners, and other engineering disciplines. Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, staffing, and deliverables. Attend client meetings and serve as a primary point of contact throughout the project lifecycle. Review shop drawings, RFIs, submittals, and other construction-phase documentation. Perform site visits and provide engineering support during construction. Mentor and provide technical guidance to junior engineers and designers. Support proposals, client development, and continued growth of the Miami structural practice. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering; Master's degree preferred. Approximately 6-10+ years of structural engineering experience , preferably focused on building structures. Strong experience with the design of concrete and steel building systems . Experience managing structural projects and coordinating directly with architects and clients. Knowledge of Florida Building Code and applicable structural design standards. Experience with structural analysis and design software commonly used within the buildings industry. Strong communication, organization, and project management skills. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred , with Florida licensure or the ability to obtain it considered a significant advantage. Pay:
