In this role, you will lead and support the planning, design, and execution of highway and transportation projects, ensuring they meet all regulatory standards and client expectations. Your expertise will drive the development of efficient, sustainable, and safe road systems that enhance mobility and connectivity. Duties Lead the planning, design, and development of transportation infrastructure projects, including highways, roads, and related systems. Manage project schedules, budgets, and resources to ensure timely and cost-effective project delivery. Conduct transportation planning studies using GIS tools like ArcGIS and transportation simulation modeling to optimize traffic flow and infrastructure performance. Oversee construction management activities on-site, ensuring compliance with DOT (Department of Transportation) regulations and state transportation standards. Coordinate with multidisciplinary teams including surveyors, geotechnical engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to facilitate seamless project execution. Prepare technical reports, documentation, and project engineering records with clear communication tailored for regulatory agencies and clients. Skills Extensive experience in civil engineering with a focus on transportation infrastructure projects. Proficiency in CAD software such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D, MicroStation, along with Bentley OpenRoads for highway design. Strong knowledge of project scheduling tools like Bluebeam for document management and project tracking. Expertise in GIS platforms including ArcGIS for spatial analysis and transportation planning projects.
