About the Opportunity Invicta Construction Solutions is seeking a motivated, detail-oriented Project Engineer who wants meaningful exposure to real project execution—not just administrative support. This role is designed for an organized early-career construction professional who wants to learn how projects are truly built while working alongside experienced Project Managers, Superintendents, subcontractors, and ownership teams on active commercial construction assignments. At Invicta, Project Engineers are developed into future Assistant Project Managers and Project Managers through hands-on experience, mentorship, and direct involvement in the full project lifecycle. What This Role Will Own Support daily project operations including submittals, RFIs, permits, inspections, meeting minutes, drawing revisions, and project documentation . Assist with municipal permitting, AHJ coordination, inspections, and closeout documentation for active projects. Maintain organized and accurate document control across all phases of construction using project-management systems and internal workflows. Track procurement schedules, long-lead materials, subcontractor coordination, field issues, punch items, and project milestones . Support coordination between office staff, field teams, owners, architects, engineers, and subcontractors to keep projects moving efficiently. Help maintain project logs, schedules, budget tracking support, and reporting for Project Managers. Participate in field walks, project meetings, and problem-solving efforts to gain real-world construction experience. Build the habits, technical knowledge, and leadership skills necessary to advance into Assistant Project Manager and Project Manager responsibilities . What Strong Candidates Bring 1-3 years of construction project support experience , internship experience, or strong exposure to commercial construction operations. Degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, Architecture, Engineering, or related field preferred . Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, urgency, and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Working knowledge of Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Project, and construction document-control workflows preferred . Basic understanding of commercial construction processes, permitting, inspections, and subcontractor coordination . Strong communication skills with a willingness to learn from both office and field professionals.
