About:
We are a full service design and engineering company in business in southwest Florida for over 20 years! We provide engineer and design for both residential and commercial projects including structural, civil and surveying. We are look for a Design Engineer to join our growing team!

Bachelors degree in civil engineering or similar engineering disciplineProficiency with AutoCADFamiliar with Revit, Bluebeam and structural analysis toolsEIT preferred but not requiredWhat you will be doing:

You will be responsible for the planning, design, and execution of structural engineering projects from concept through completion.

You will collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, manage project timelines, and ensure all designs meet safety standards, applicable codes, and client requirements.

Lead the initiation, design, and oversight of structural building components, spanning from foundation systems through roof framing. Projects range from single-story residential structures to mid-size commercial and multi-family developments.

Review of shop drawings for compliance with design intent and responding to construction Requests for Information (RFIs).Assist in the design and analysis of structural systems for buildings and other structures using steel, concrete, masonry, and wood.

Prepare structural calculations, drawings, and specifications in compliance with local codes and industry standards.

Work with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software to develop design documents.

Collaborate with architects, MEP engineers, and contractors to ensure design coordination and constructability.

Perform site visits, inspections, and field reports as needed during construction.

Assist in preparing technical reports and documentation for permitting, bidding, and construction.

Participate in internal project meetings and contribute to design discussions.
