Job Description

We are looking for Transportation Engineering Interns interested in working on exciting and engaging large-scale infrastructure projects. You'll work with the best Professional Engineers and Project Managers in the business. We want you to be empowered to deliver bold solutions for everyday living. Jacobs' Transportation Group encompasses a diverse range of expertise and sectors, including:
Rail and Transit:
Multimodal facilities, automated guideways, paratransit systems, bus facilities and depots, aerial, at-grade, and underground stations, elevated structures, tunnels, and line structures.
Bridges and Tunnels:
Comprehensive design, construction management, and inspection services.
Highways and Roads:
Expertise in planning, design, and maintenance.
Aviation:
Services related to airport infrastructure and operations.
Ports and Marine:
Port planning, capital projects, maintenance, container terminals, intermodal integration, jetties, quays, and coastal defense schemes. You'll be accountable for engineering design tasks specific to your group as well as supporting our Project Management team; as you gain familiarity with the client's expectations, scope, budget, and schedule. You'll be surrounded by the expert mentorship of Professional Engineers and plenty of opportunities to help you thrive in your new career. Enrollment in a Bachelors or Master of Science degree in Civil Engineering, Transportation Engineering or a closely related field Knowledge of and experience using CADD/Design software (preferably Microstation/OpenRoads/Geopak) Ideally, you'll also have: Engineer in Training (EIT) or on track to obtain Previous experience design or transportation-related coursework Jacobs is an Equal Opportunity/Affirmative Action Employer.
