Job Summary We are seeking a highly motivated Construction Project Engineer to join our dynamic construction management team. In this role, you will oversee and coordinate various phases of construction projects, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and within budget. Responsibilities Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets utilizing Primavera P6 and other construction management software tools. Coordinate with clients, contractors, suppliers, and internal teams to facilitate smooth project execution. Review and interpret construction plans, specifications, and technical documents to ensure compliance with project requirements. Monitor project progress through regular site visits and updates, adjusting schedules as necessary to meet deadlines. Manage project documentation including contracts, change orders, RFIs (Request for Information), and submittals. Conduct cost management activities by analyzing Excel data, tracking expenditures, and controlling project costs. Utilize construction estimating tools such as HeavyBid for accurate cost forecasting and resource allocation. Collaborate on construction site activities ensuring safety standards are maintained and quality control measures are followed. Prepare progress reports and communicate project status effectively to stakeholders. Assist in resolving construction-related issues promptly through analysis skills and effective coordination. Requirements Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field; relevant certifications are a plus. Proven experience in construction project management with a minimum of 3 years in the industry. Proficiency in Primavera P6, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel data analysis), Bluebeam, ProCore, and other construction management software. Strong understanding of construction scheduling, site logistics, and civil engineering project management software. Hands-on experience with construction plans, contracts, and change order processes. Knowledge of heavy civil projects including infrastructure or large-scale commercial developments. Excellent organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently under tight deadlines. Effective communication skills for collaboration across diverse teams and stakeholders. Demonstrated analysis skills for cost control and schedule optimization. Familiarity with construction industry standards, safety protocols, and quality assurance procedures. #tech_indeed
