Based in Kapolei, Hawaii, OCI constructs technical projects for Government and commercial clients primarily in the drinking water, wastewater, and fuels industries. The company's projects range from public utilities and infrastructure including pumping systems, power generators, fueling facilities, and water treatment, all executed with a focus on safety, competitiveness, and timeliness. Role Description This is a full-time on-site role as a Project Engineer at Oceanic Companies, Inc. The candidate will be responsible for assisting the project manager and project team with construction supervision, project engineering & CAD drawings, project documentation, job cost accounting, and scheduling efforts. In order to be successful, this candidate should feel comfortable taking on many tasks that require various skills, and appropriately prioritizing those tasks' completion. Responsibilities Assist with on-site management to ensure project success Ensure project plan is moving forward to meet anticipated deadlines Assist in the preparation and interpretation of engineering drawings Assist with the RFI and submittal process Assist with owner billings and project related accounting issues Qualifications Communication and Project Management skills Project Engineering and Civil, Mechanical, and/or Electrical Engineering knowledge Experience in project planning and implementation Ability to work effectively in a team environment Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities Bachelor's degree in Civil, Mechanical, Electrical any related Engineering field Project Management Professional (PMP) certification is a plus Strong experience in AutoCad, SolidWorks, or other CAD, and Microsoft Office Suite is a plus Salary range is $65,000 to $100,000 based on entry level to very experienced Project Engineer.
