Job Description

I am partnered with an award-winning, multi-disciplined firm that offers a full range of services to both public and private sector clients and they are looking to add a Senior Structural Engineer. This candidate will work on a wide range of transportation design projects on both roadway and rail structures.
Responsibilities:
Support existing transportation projects and serve as a PM on upcoming projects Leads the structural design efforts for complex transportation design projects Work on bridge and structural design projects (small drainage structures to large multi-span bridges) Designated client contact Participate in project interviews, attends client meetings, and conducts public presentations Support construction projects Other duties may include use of computer software to review and prepare engineering and design documents
Required Experience:
8+ years of transportation experience Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or related field Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain within 6 months Experienced in the design of concrete and steel girder bridges Experience with AASHTO standards and procedures Willingness to travel occasionally throughout the Midwest Experience in rail structures a plus but not required What they have for you: Growth opportunities within Medical, HSA, Dental, Vision, Life, and Disability - company contributes a significant portion towards or, for some plans, covers 100% of the premiums Generous Vacation and Sick leave programs Collaborative work environment Generous PTO program and paid holidays Flex time scheduling This is a full-time, direct hire opportunity.
