Entry-level Civil Engineer Anderson Bogert has an immediate opening for an Entry-level Civil Engineer. Are you interested in working for a local company where you and your skills will be noticed? At Anderson Bogert, you'll work alongside experienced engineers on projects that improve communities throughout Eastern Iowa. From your first day, you'll gain hands-on experience designing municipal infrastructure, transportation improvements, utility systems, and land development projects while building relationships with clients, contractors, and local communities. Position Summary We are seeking a motivated Entry-Level Civil Engineer to join our growing team. This position offers the opportunity to work on a wide variety of civil engineering projects while developing technical design, project management, and client communication skills. You'll collaborate with experienced engineers and technical staff to help deliver high-quality infrastructure projects from planning through construction. Typical Projects Municipal infrastructure improvements Transportation and roadway design Water, sanitary sewer, and storm sewer systems Residential and commercial site development Utility infrastructure Construction administration and observation Duties Assist with the planning and design of municipal, transportation, and site development projects Prepare engineering calculations, construction plans, specifications, and cost estimates Develop technical reports, exhibits, and permit documents Coordinate with project managers, clients, regulatory agencies, and contractors Assist with construction administration and field observation as projects are built Participate in project meetings and collaborate with engineers, surveyors, and technical staff Continue developing technical knowledge through mentorship and professional training Basic Qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering

registration or the ability to become registered within six months Excellent communication and writing skills Strong technical skills Valid Iowa driver's license, and insurability approval by Anderson Bogert's insurance provider Preferred Qualifications 0 to 10 years of civil engineering experience through internships or full-time employment Experience with AutoCAD Civil 3D Familiarity with municipal infrastructure, transportation, or site development projects At Anderson Bogert, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of projects while working directly with experienced engineers and project managers.
