is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Construction Project Engineer to help coordinate construction projects from inception to completion. The ideal candidate will possess strong skills in assisting project management This role offers an excellent opportunity for professionals with a background in civil engineering, construction site experience, and proficiency in industry-standard tools and software. Responsibilities The Project Engineer position will be responsible for assisting and working with the Project Manager in all aspects of construction management The Project Engineer will be required to assist with and perform estimating and quantity take offs, solicitation of vendor quotations, preparation of estimates and proposals, site visits and bid reviews. The Project Engineer will be required to assist with and perform Project Management duties such as submitting and tracking of RFI's, submittals, scheduling, material procurement, cost tracking, site visits, safety management and change order management. Skills Ability to work with craft/field staff Self-starter with the ability to multi-task and prioritize work with frequent interruptions and distractions. Excellent written and verbal communication skills and the ability to effectively communicate with clients, government agencies and all levels of leadership. Ability to work in a collaborative team atmosphere under high pressure Ability to use problem solving skills in both collaborative and independent environments to achieve desired results. Experience with Microsoft Office 365 Excel, Work, Outlook, Teams Experience with project management software HCSS, Procore, Bluebeam, Microsoft Project. Experience with design software Revit, AutoCAD, Navisworks.
Required Qualifications:
0-5 years of experience with documentation and tracking of RFI's, submittals and plan revisions. 0-5 years of experience with reviewing and comprehension of construction plans and specifications. 0-5 years of experience with the change order management process 0-5 years of experience with estimating skills and quantity take offs. Bachelor's degree (Construction Management or Civil Engineering is preferred) Valid driver's license Successful passing of pre-employment drug screening
