This role supports planning, execution, quality management, turnover, and project closeout activities. This position plays a key role in coordinating technical activities, QA/QC processes, punch list management, turnover documentation, and client acceptance. Here's a deeper dive into what you'll take on: Design Interpretation & RFI Management Compare models, specifications, P&IDs, and drawings to identify conflicts or missing information. Write and manage RFIs and coordinate resolution of technical issues. Support fabrication, installation, testing, and turnover activities. Work Package Development Create field-ready work packages for procurement, installation, testing, startup, and turnover activities. Coordinate schedules, material tracking, and completion planning with project teams. Field Engineering & Construction Support Serve as a technical resource for field supervision and subcontractors. Support installation sequencing, testing, inspections, and turnover activities. Participate in planning, commissioning, and completion meetings. Quality Assurance, Punch List & Project Closeout Perform field verification to ensure compliance with project requirements. Support QA/QC inspections, documentation reviews, and corrective action tracking. Generate, manage, and track punch list items through final closeout. Coordinate turnover packages, test records, as-builts, warranties, and closeout documents. Support startup, commissioning, operational readiness, and owner acceptance activities. Team Collaboration & Client Coordination Build relationships with project stakeholders and participate in turnover and closeout meetings. Support owner training, operations handoff, and final acceptance processes. Safety & Quality Promote company safety and quality standards. Verify compliance with project specifications, contract requirements, and company procedures.
Position Requirements What You Bring Experience:
3+ years in project engineering, construction coordination, QA/QC, turnover, commissioning support, or related construction roles.
Education:
Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a related field preferred. Equivalent combinations of education and relevant construction experience will also be considered.
Skills:
Proficient with Navisworks, Revizto, Autodesk Construction Cloud, and Bluebeam. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to write clear RFIs, interpret technical documents, and coordinate effectively between design, fabrication, and field teams.
Mindset:
Field-first, gritty, and resourceful, with a passion for precision and quality. You're a trusted technical partner who builds strong relationships, communicates effectively, and enjoys solving complex construction challenges. Physical Requirements This role requires transitioning between office and construction field settings. In the office, you'll sit for extended periods at a computer, performing repetitive tasks like typing and communicating by telephone. In the field, you'll stand and walk for extended periods on various surfaces, including uneven terrain, climb stairs, kneel, crouch, and crawl to inspect tight spaces, and occasionally lift up to 40 pounds. Good vision and hearing are essential for reading plans, inspecting work, and communicating on-site. You'll work outdoors in various weather conditions, adhere to site-specific dress codes, and wear PPE (hard hats, gloves, safety glasses, steel-toed boots).
