Essential Functions:
Responsible to inspect for areas needing attention and to assure proper levels of cleanliness such as elevators, lobby, vacant spaces, bathrooms, lunch areas, stairwells, outside building perimeter, loading docks, sidewalks, and parking lots. Monitor cleaning supply inventory and report when inventories are below predetermined levels. Working on basic maintenance repairs such as loose washroom partitions, replacement of broken fixtures, changing light bulbs, cleaning clogged toilets, minor painting, tile replacement, and other basic building maintenance tasks. Report any observed areas requiring attention to building management. Snow removal and salting of sidewalks, entrances, etc. Other duties as assigned Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Work well with others Good communication skills Dependability Basic plumbing knowledge is preferred Basic mechanical knowledge is preferred Working Conditions Walk all areas of the property including and not limited to: interior of building, exterior of building, roof, basement, stairwells, boiler rooms, and dark areas. Employee must be physically capable of lifting up to 50lbs. May have to detect auditory and or visual emergency alarms. Minimum Qualifications High school degree/GED is required. This is a full time position, Monday through Friday.
