Qualifications and responsibilities for this Stormwater Project Engineer position include: Bachelor of Science in civil engineering, environmental engineering, or a related field from an ABET accredited program PE in Illinois or EIT with the ability to acquire PE licensure within one year of employment Certified Floodplain Manager certification, or the ability to obtain within one year of employment 5+ years of professional engineering experience with a strong technical background in hydrology, hydraulics, and stormwater modeling Plan, design, and implement stormwater management systems while ensuring regulatory compliance and developing sustainable flood control and water quality solutions Oversee participation in the National Flood Insurance Program and ensure completion of Community Rating System recertification requirements and NPDES compliance Collaborate effectively with Village staff, elected officials, residents, developers, regulatory agencies, and other stakeholders Support project teams in both administrative and field-based work, with responsibilities shifting seasonally and regular interaction with the local community

Salary :

$107,000 - $150,000 per year, commensurate with experience.
