Building Engineer Location:

Peru, IL| Full-Time | $36 - $38/hour Monday through Friday - Day Shift Schedule Are you a hands-on Building Engineer who enjoys keeping facility systems running safely and efficiently? We're looking for an experienced maintenance professional to join a busy industrial facility and take ownership of day-to-day building operations. What You'll Do Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs across facility systems Maintain and repair HVAC, electrical, plumbing, mechanical, fire/life-safety, and building systems Respond to emergency repairs and equipment issues Inspect systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable operation Help maintain an efficient energy and preventive maintenance program Follow all safety procedures, building codes, and environmental requirements Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe Work independently while partnering with site operations and other team members What We're Looking For We're looking for someone with experience in HVAC (chillers, air compressors, etc.), general plumbing, electrical, and basic carpentry, including drywall patching and painting.
