Our client is an established Structural Steel Fabricator and Erector with a leading reputation throughout Northern Ohio. This partnership brings forth an amazing opportunity for candidates who are seeking to advance their career in the field of structural engineering.
Position Responsibilities:
  • Manage the design and engineering of structural steel or construction projects.
  • Conduct site visits and inspections to assess structural requirements and evaluate project feasibility.
  • Develop and prepare detailed structural engineering designs, calculations, and specifications.
  • Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other stakeholders to ensure structural designs align with project goals and requirements.
  • Provide technical expertise and guidance to project teams throughout the construction process.
Position Essential Job Functions:
  • Perform structural analysis and calculations using industry-standard software.
  • Create detailed drawings and models using AutoCAD or similar software.
  • Stay updated on industry codes, standards, and best practices.
  • Review project plans and specifications to ensure compliance with structural design requirements.
  • Coordinate with internal and external teams to resolve design issues and address any discrepancies.
Position Skills:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Structural Engineering or a related field.
  • Proven experience in managing the design and engineering of structural steel or construction projects.
  • Proficiency in structural analysis and design software.
  • Strong knowledge of industry codes and standards, such as AISC, ACI, and ASCE.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
