Responsibilities:

The GeotechnicalEngineer willcontributetoawiderangeofprojects,includingcommercialandindustrialdevelopments,transportationinfrastructure,bridges,airports,publicworks,andenvironmentalredevelopment. Thepositionincludesleadershipresponsibilitieswithinthegeotechnicalgroup,alongwithcoordinationofconstructioninspectionandtestingactivities.

Theselectedcandidatewillworkcloselywithinternalteamsandserveasakeypointofcontactforclients,contractors,andprojectstakeholders. Managegeotechnicalprojectsfromproposalthroughcompletion,ensuringquality,schedule,andbudgetexpectationsaremet Buildandmaintainstrongrelationshipswithclientsandprojectpartners Providetechnicaloversight,mentorship,andtrainingtoengineeringandfieldstaff Supportstaffcoordinationacrossofficeandfieldoperations Prepareandreviewproposals,technicalreports,andengineeringdocumentation Assistindevelopinginternalstandards,specifications,andprocedures Overseesubsurfaceinvestigations,includingdrilling,infiltrationtesting,andmonitoringwellinstallation Superviseconstructionactivitiessuchasearthwork,excavation,dewatering,foundationsystems,andloadtesting Coordinateandmanagesubcontractorsonactiveprojectsites Performgeotechnicalanalysesrelatedtofoundations,retainingstructures,pavements,andotherinfrastructuresystems Interpretsubsurfaceconditions,includinggeologicandhydrogeologicdata Reviewandevaluatelaboratorytestingresults Maintainaccurateandorganizedprojectdocumentationanddata Managemultipleprojectssimultaneouslywhilemaintainingstrongclientcommunication Participateinprojectmeetings,traininginitiatives,andteamcollaborationefforts Traveloccasionallytoregionalprojectsites(typicallylessthan5%)

Bachelor'sdegreeinCivilEngineeringwithafocusinGeotechnicalEngineering Relevantexperienceingeotechnicalengineering Engineer-in-Training(EIT)orProfessionalEngineer(PE)licensepreferred ProficiencyinMicrosoftOffice(Word,Excel,Outlook) Strongwrittenandverbalcommunicationskills FamiliaritywithAASHTOandASTMstandards WorkingknowledgeofAutoCAD,soilloggingsoftware,orsimilarengineeringtools Team-orientedmindsetwithstrongcollaborationskills WorkEnvironmentℜquirements: Thisroleisprimarilyoffice-basedwithperiodicfieldvisits.

Fieldworkmayinvolveliftingupto50poundsandworkinginoutdoorenvironments.

Avaliddriver'slicensewithacleandrivingrecordisrequired,alongwiththeabilitytooperatecompanyvehicles.
