Building Engineer

Pay:

$32.00 - $40.00 per hour Job description: Building Engineer - Day Shift Up to $40/hour for the right candidate Key Skills & Experience Commercial HVAC, electrical, and plumbing maintenance Experience with chillers, boilers, pumps, cooling towers, VAVs, DX units, and air handling systems Preventive & corrective maintenance (filters, belts, bearings, motors, coils) Troubleshooting mechanical, electrical, and control systems General building repairs (lighting, doors, ceilings, flooring, plumbing fixtures) Fire & life safety inspections and emergency response Energy management systems monitoring Ability to work independently and handle service requests with urgency Qualifications 5+ years commercial building maintenance experience High School Diploma or GED (trade school/apprenticeship preferred)

HVAC/EPA

Universal or applicable trade licenses preferred Strong mechanical aptitude and safety awareness Basic computer skills (Outlook, Excel, Word) Valid driver's license Schedule Day shift On‑call or overtime only as needed for emergencies
