Position Overview We are seeking a Structural Design Engineer to join our growing team. This role offers the opportunity to participate in every phase of structural engineering projects, from preliminary design through construction support. The ideal candidate enjoys solving complex engineering challenges, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and producing practical, efficient designs that meet client objectives. Key Responsibilities Design structural systems for commercial, industrial, municipal, and institutional projects. Prepare structural calculations, engineering reports, specifications, and construction documents. Develop designs utilizing steel, reinforced concrete, wood, and masonry construction. Perform structural analysis using industry-standard engineering software. Coordinate with architects, civil engineers, contractors, and project managers throughout the design process. Review shop drawings, respond to contractor requests for information (RFIs), and provide construction-phase support. Conduct occasional field visits to verify existing conditions and observe construction progress. Ensure designs comply with applicable building codes, industry standards, and client requirements. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering with a Structural emphasis or Structural Engineering. Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred or ability to obtain licensure. 8+ years of structural engineering experience preferred. Proficiency with AutoCAD, Revit, and structural analysis software such as RAM Structural System, RISA, STAAD.Pro, ETABS, or similar programs. Strong understanding of
IBC, ASCE
7, ACI, AISC, NDS, and other applicable design standards. Excellent analytical, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to manage multiple projects while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
