Lenexa, KS Build Your Future with GBA Builders GBA Builders, LLC currently offers construction management services to clients in the Life Sciences Industry. We work closely with our parent company, GBA, Inc. in a design-build relationship to add value to our clients. We are looking for a candidate to assist with design-build projects. A successful candidate will be a team player who is self-motivated and willing to jump in and assist where needed, adding value by offering thoughtful solutions and project efficiencies.

What You'll Do:

Be a team player on design-build projects - work with architects, engineers, owners, subs, etc. Estimating assistance - quantity takeoff, perform subcontractor pricing reviews / verifications. Assist project superintendent with day to day activities such as drawing coordination, safety reports, daily logs and reports, progress photos, quality assurance and site communication and coordination. Assist with coordination of subcontractors on site Quality control assistance Assist with schedule evaluations and updates Assist with site logistics planning and coordination Interact with clients and design team as needed to resolve issues and expedite the work Assist with project bidding and buyout Assist with project budget management Safety assistance while on job sites Other duties as assigned

What You'll Bring:

Degree in construction management / construction science. Hands on construction experience / internships is preferred Partnership approach to working with architects and engineers MS Office Suite knowledge and excellent computer skills Proficient in MS Project Excellent communication and problem-solving skills Demonstrated ability to be a team player Self-motivation and time management skills 100% Travel.
