Kansas , Topeka Job Description gpac, a recruitment company with more than 30 years of experience, is partnered with a well-established Commercial Construction company looking for an Field Engineer. This is an amazing opportunity for someone looking for new challenges, a change in their career, or to grow professionally. The Assistant Superintendent will be responsible for overseeing construction tasks onsite, ensuring safety standards are met, and leading the team in completing projects on-time and on-budget. Among their essential job functions, this person will need to be able to review and understand contracts, create and maintain budgets, monitor progress of projects, document progress with photos and reports, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one to three years of experience in commercial construction. A degree in construction management, engineering, or a related field is required. The position will pay between $65,000- 80,000, and excellent benefits are also included. Field Engineer responsabilities include:
- Overseeing construction tasks onsite
- Ensuring safety standards are met
- Leading the team to complete projects on-time and on-budget
- Review and understand contracts
- Create and maintain budgets
- Monitor progress of projects
- Document progress with photos and reports
- Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors Field Engineer essential job functions include:
