full-time Hiring a Civil Engineering Co-op! Viox & Viox is seeking a motivated Civil Engineering Co-op to join our team. This position offers students the opportunity to gain practical experience on a variety of site development and public infrastructure projects. Co-op students work directly with project teams and contribute to active projects through CAD drafting, engineering calculations, plan preparation, field observations, permitting, and construction support. This is more than a typical internship. You'll gain exposure to the complete project lifecycle while building the technical and professional skills needed for a successful career in civil engineering. About Viox & Viox Viox & Viox is a family-owned consulting firm, with approximately 40 team members, specializing in civil engineering, land surveying, landscape architecture, and planning. For over 80 years, Viox & Viox has provided design services for commercial, residential, industrial, and municipal projects all around the Northern Kentucky and Greater Cincinnati region. Our clients include public entities such as cities, counties, townships, and utility companies, as well as private developers such as home builders and large commercial/ industrial development companies. What You'll Do Assist with the preparation of site plans, grading plans, utility plans, erosion control plans, and other construction documents Prepare and revise CAD drawings and exhibits under the direction of engineers and designers Perform basic engineering calculations and quantity takeoffs Assist with permit applications, technical reports, and project submittals Attend site visits and observe construction activities Participate in project meetings, bid openings, and pre-construction meetings Collaborate with engineers, surveyors, CAD designers, and project managers Learn local regulations, permitting processes, and engineering standards Gain exposure to surveying and construction practices What We're Looking For Required Enrollment in an accredited Civil Engineering or related degree program Interest in civil/site design and willingness to learn Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions Preferred Basic computer skills and familiarity with AutoCAD or similar CAD software Prior internship, co-op, or field experience in engineering, construction, or surveying. Coursework in surveying, CAD, hydrology/hydraulics, transportation, or construction materials. Valid driver's license.
