As a Civil Coastal Engineer , you will manage the design and implementation of coastal infrastructure projects that solve critical challenges like flood control, erosion, and ecological restoration. This role combines technical expertise , leadership , and strategic oversight to deliver sustainable infrastructure solutions that meet the needs of municipalities, ecosystems, and communities. You'll work with multidisciplinary teams, engage directly with clients and stakeholders, and ensure projects are executed with excellence. Join our team and be part of something bigger!
What You'll Do Innovative Design:
Develop coastal infrastructure such as levees, seawalls, and marsh restorations that safeguard environments and enhance resilience.
Project Leadership:
Manage full project lifecycles, including budgets, schedules, and resources, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
Compliance & Permitting:
Ensure projects meet all regulatory requirements, preparing and submitting necessary permits and documentation.
Construction Oversight:
Oversee field inspections and coordinate with contractors to maintain quality and resolve challenges.
Team Building:
Mentor junior engineers and encourage collaboration, fostering a culture of professional growth and innovation.
Client Engagement:
Build strong relationships with municipalities and stakeholders, aligning project goals with community and environmental needs.
Business Development:
Identify new opportunities, prepare competitive proposals, and assist clients in securing project funding.
What We're Looking For Education:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering required (Master's preferred) from an ABET-accredited program .
Experience:
Minimum 7 years in municipal or coastal engineering, with expertise in managing large-scale infrastructure projects.
Technical Expertise:
Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D , GIS applications, and project management software like Microsoft Project .
