Senior Structural Planner Location:
Lockport, LA Position Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Senior Structural Planner with at least 5 years of structural craft level experience in fitting. The candidate will plan and coordinate structural fitting and welding activities. The ideal candidate should have extensive experience in structural fitting and possess strong organizational and communication skills, along with basic computer proficiency. Key Responsibilities Plan and coordinate structural fitting and welding activities Read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings and translate into work instructions Utilize MS Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook) for planning and documentation purposes Communicate effectively with team members and other departments to ensure smooth workflow Organize and manage multiple tasks to meet project deadlines Ensure that all structural activities comply with industry standards and specifications Qualifications Minimum of 5 years of structural fitting. Ability to read and interpret blueprints / technical drawings and translate to work instructions. Preferably experience in the Marine / Ship Building Industry.
