This role carries full project ownership from concept through construction, with responsibility for technical quality, client relationships, schedule, and budget. The position also includes a mentorship component, contributing to the growth of junior and mid-level engineering staff.

$110,000 to $135,000 per year, commensurate with experience What You'll Do In this role, you will lead civil engineering design and analysis for land development projects spanning commercial, institutional, industrial, and federal clients, including both new construction and work on existing facilities. Project scopes will involve site grading, stormwater management, utility coordination, and related civil infrastructure, with deliverables prepared in AutoCAD Civil 3D. You will manage project schedules and budgets, serve as the primary client contact throughout the project lifecycle, and coordinate across multidisciplinary teams that include architects, contractors, and other engineering disciplines at project sites nationwide. Technical oversight of engineering and design staff is a core part of the role, including quality review of drawings, specifications, and calculations. You will also contribute to business development and project planning activities, including participation in proposals, client presentations, and pursuit strategy discussions. Required Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering Professional Engineer (PE) license, active and in good standing 8 or more years of professional experience in civil engineering with a focus on land development Proficiency in AutoCAD Civil 3D Demonstrated experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client communications Experience coordinating with architects, contractors, and multidisciplinary project teams Preferred Qualifications 10 or more years of experience, including federal or government project work Experience preparing civil specifications Familiarity with site permitting, entitlement processes, or regulatory agency coordination LEED accreditation or experience with sustainable site design Experience mentoring or leading engineering staff Compensation and Benefits Base salary: $110,000 to $135,000 per year, depending on experience Medical, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) retirement plan Paid time off Professional development and licensure support To apply, submit your resume and a brief description of relevant project experience.
