Job Description The Senior Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Lusby, MD will be responsible for: Support Project Managers and Superintendents in the successful execution of heavy civil construction projects. Prepare and manage submittals, RFIs, change orders, and project documentation. Perform quantity take-offs and track installed quantities throughout construction. Assist with subcontractor coordination, scheduling, and procurement activities. Participate in project buyouts and vendor negotiations. Monitor project costs, budgets, and production performance. Work closely with field operations teams to ensure schedule, safety, and quality objectives are met. Serve as a mentor and resource to junior Project Engineers on project sites. Attend project meetings with owners, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders. Split time between field operations and project administration responsibilities. The Successful Applicant A successful Senior Project Engineer - Civil Construction - Lusby, MD should have: 3+ years of experience as a Project Engineer, Field Engineer, or Assistant Project Manager. Heavy civil, utility, infrastructure, excavation, sitework, or related construction experience. Wet and dry utility experience is highly preferred. Ability to work effectively in both field and office environments. Experience with quantity tracking, take-offs, subcontractor coordination, and project documentation. Strong communication and organizational skills. Ability to mentor and support less experienced project staff. Proficient with construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite. Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field preferred. Willingness to travel to project sites within the Maryland region. Base Salary:
