Job Description
Project Engineer Project Engineer Position Overview We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to lead technical delivery and coordination for multidisciplinary engineering projects. The Project Engineer will manage design development, technical analyses, procurement, construction support, commissioning and handover while ensuring projects are delivered on schedule, within budget and to quality, safety and regulatory standards. The role requires strong engineering fundamentals, handson experience with design tools and construction practices, and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, contractors and internal teams. Key Responsibilities Lead technical planning and execution for engineering projects from concept through commissioning and handover, ensuring alignment with scope, schedule and budget Develop, review and approve engineering designs, calculations and drawings for mechanical, electrical, structural and HVAC systems using tools such as SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD and BIM workflows Create and maintain project schedules, resource plans and progress reports using MS Project and Primavera P6; monitor critical path and implement corrective actions Prepare and review P&ID, instrumentation and control schematics; define

architecture and support control system integration and testing Perform structural and mechanical analysis, FEA and simulation using ANSYS, MATLAB and related tools to validate designs and support risk reduction Manage procurement, vendor evaluation and contract administration in line with EPC practices; prepare technical specifications and participate in bid review and vendor negotiations Lead construction management activities including site supervision, coordination with contractors, quality assurance, and compliance with safety and ISO standards Plan and oversee commissioning, functional testing and system startup activities; troubleshoot system issues and lead root cause analysis to implement corrective measures Mentor junior engineers, provide technical guidance, and promote continuous improvement and best practices across the project team Qualifications Bachelors degree in Mechanical, Civil, Electrical or related Engineering discipline; Masters degree or relevant professional certification (e.g., PMP) preferred Minimum 5+ years of project engineering experience in EPC, manufacturing or industrial engineering projects Proven experience with engineering design tools: SolidWorks, Revit, AutoCAD and BIM platforms Working knowledge of HVAC systems, structural analysis, electrical and mechanical systems, and P&ID development Experience with PLC, SCADA, controls, instrumentation and commissioning activities Proficiency with simulation and analysis tools such as ANSYS, MATLAB and common FEA packages Strong project management skills with handson experience using MS Project and Primavera P6 Demonstrated experience in procurement, contract management, cost estimating, budgeting and financial control Familiarity with quality systems and standards (ISO), HAZOP facilitation, root cause analysis and risk management methodologies For this position, you must be currently authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship for a non-immigrant visa.
