Job Description
DuBois & King, Inc is seeking a Civil Engineer with approximately 0-5 years of experience. This is a full-time engineering position with full benefits in our busy and growing Bangor, Maine office. This position would support our Public Works division, with projects in water resources, water- and storm-water engineer, civil engineering, public infrastructure, and more. Responsibilities Learning key engineering software, such as AutoCAD, Civil 3D and GIS programs/conventions. Assist in the development and preparation of plans, specifications, and estimates. Conduct site reviews as needed for feasibility studies, planning, and design projects. Provide conceptual, preliminary, and final design civil engineering support for all divisions. These tasks are likely to include: investigation, research, calculations, evaluation of alternatives, and design development on a variety of projects. Qualifications B.S. Degree in Civil Engineering EIT or ability to obtain one within 6 months is preferred Ability to work well with others in a collaborative team environment Experience in AutoCAD and Civil 3D preferred About us Established in 1962, DuBois & King provides multidisciplinary consulting engineering services to federal and state agencies, municipalities, health care and educational facilities, airports, industrial and commercial building projects, energy producers, and the telecommunication industry.
