Now we need to add a Municipal Civil Engineer to help us keep building. Working with our Municipal team, you will plan and design on a variety of municipal projects, as well as work with other departments on project proposals. What You'll Do Plan and design for water main, sanitary and storm sewer, and road projects for local municipalities.
Perform design calculations, quantify bid items, develop cost estimates, execute CAD drafting, and prepare reports.
Specify project-specific technical specifications, standard construction drawings, and Maintenance of Traffic.
Assist in Bidding and Construction Phase Services on municipal projects including RFIs, shop drawing review, and as-built drawings.
Work closely with other technical staff from all Fishbeck offices to assist in providing consulting engineering services from state and private universities, municipalities, and local development clients.
Interact daily with project teams in a multi-discipline and multi-office environment. What We're Looking For Successfully passed FE (EIT) Exam.
Licensed PE is a plus.
5+ years of experience with the design of water main, sanitary sewer, and road projects.
Working knowledge of AutoCAD and Civil 3D software.
Experience with the Ohio Department of Transportation (MDOT) Construction and Material Specifications and MDOT's Local Agency Program is a plus.
