- Warren, MI Our client is an established commercial general contractor specializing in construction projects for financial institutions throughout the Upper Midwest and nationwide.
Responsibilities:
Set up construction projects, including subcontractor onboarding and project closeout documentation Maintain project documentation and records using Procore and Microsoft Excel Review and analyze construction drawings, blueprints, plans, specifications, contracts, and related project documentation Prepare, process, and track RFIs, submittals, prime contracts, and other construction documents Coordinate with the Estimating team throughout the bidding and preconstruction process Assist with project planning, construction scheduling, permitting, and project coordination Assist with evaluating project costs and the impact of revisions and change orders Coordinate subcontractors, clients, site personnel, and internal project teams throughout all stages of assigned projects Support field and site coordination throughout project execution Travel to project sites, including occasional out-of-state travel approximately 2-3 days per monthQualifications:
2+ years of commercial construction experience Construction Management or similar degree required Experience reviewing and interpreting construction plans and specifications relative to project scope and schedule Experience or education working with architectural and structural drawings Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Experience with construction project documentation, project coordination, or construction management processes Ability to work full time from the Warren, MI office and active project sites Ability to travel to different cities and states approximately 2-3 days per month Ability to complete required background and driving record screenings in accordance with applicable laws.Compensation:
