Job Description
Job Summary
We are seeking a talented and detail-oriented Project Engineer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess strong mechanical knowledge and expertise in various CAD software applications. This role involves creating detailed designs, schematics, and models that meet project specifications and standards. The Project Engineer will collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure that all designs are functional, efficient, and innovative. Responsibilities
- Develop and draft high-quality 2D and 3D models using CAD software.
- Create detailed schematics and technical drawings that accurately represent design specifications.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to understand project requirements and provide design solutions.
- Conduct Finite Element Analysis (FEA) to evaluate the performance of designs under various conditions.
- Revise designs based on feedback from team members or changes in project scope.
- Maintain organized documentation of design processes, revisions, and final outputs.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards and best practices throughout the design process. Requirements
- Understand how to breakdown a material list from Estimators.
- Proficient in Excel
- Very detail oriented in field measurements
- Fence & Railing experience is preferred
- Some Fabrication/Welding knowledge
- Proficiency in CAD software.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to understand complex engineering concepts.
- Experience in drafting and building detailed schematics for mechanical systems.
- Familiarity with Finite Element Analysis (FEA) techniques is a plus.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously and understand the urgency of each project.
- Strong communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members across various departments.
- A degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred but not mandatory for candidates with relevant experience.
