Job Description

job summary: Industry leading manufacturing organization is searching for a promotable (groomed for advancement opportunities) Structural Engineer in the Duluth, MN area. This roles comes with a very good salary commensurate with experience with a base salary ranging from $100k to $110k plus a bonus that can range from 15% to 30% based upon company performance. Relocation assistance is also available. All candidates must be legally authorized to work in the U.S.

  • 110,000 per year work hours: 8am to 4pm education: Bachelors responsibilities:
  • Manage structrual steel engineering projects from cost estimates, material specifications, calculations, design of structures, facilities and equipment to installation and start up.
  • Ensure contract work is documented properly with specifications and work scopes, coordinate within operational needs and completed safely.
  • Direct and coordinate work performed by engineering consultants and contractors.
  • Direct and coordinate work performed by operating employees as required for new equipment installation or testing to ensure conformity to engineering design and specifications.
  • Provide structural steel assessments expertise to management, engineers and mechanical crafts people on as needed basis.
Minimum Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Structural Engineering
  • 5 years experience in structural steel engineering required
  • Previous knowledge of project management and creation of work scopes preferred
  • Previous project engineering, cost analysis, budgeting and quality management experience preferred
  • Licensed structural PE in Minnesota preferred
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and Auto-cad qualifications: Experience level: ExperiencedMinimum 5 years of experience
