Building Engineer

Job Description The Building Maintenance Engineer is responsible for supporting a Class A, mission‑critical facility with data center operations, where zero downtime and rapid response are mandatory. This role requires strong HVAC knowledge, power and generator awareness, and the ability to prioritize and respond to issues immediately and professionally. Strong understanding of HVAC systems, including manual restart procedures. Knowledge of power systems, generators, and switchgear operation. Familiarity with monitoring medium‑voltage electrical systems (13,800V). Ability to troubleshoot electronics and building systems. Capability to perform minor plumbing work. Electrical work is minimal, but electrical system awareness is required Prior experience supporting data center environments or critical facilities
