RESPONSIBILITIES
Support Service Project Managers with administrative, coordination, and communication tasks across multiple projects. Keep projects organized, documented, and moving forward without delays. Assist with scheduling conversations between Project Managers, Service Electricians, and the Service Coordinator. Coordinate material staging and delivery details with Purchasing to support job readiness. Communicate professionally and responsively with customers, field leaders, vendors, and internal partners. Maintain clear and consistent communication flow across projects. Maintain organized project documentation including RFIs, submittals, change orders, plans, billing files, and closeout materials. Assist with cost tracking and job financials. Assist Project Managers with updates to PlanGrid, Bluebeam, and related systems. Provide backup support for the Service Coordinator when needed by handling basic scheduling, customer updates, and work order entry. Participate in jobsite meetings and field coordination. Build working knowledge of estimating, job costing, scheduling, and technical basics through exposure and hands-on support.
REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS & ABILITIES
Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to coordinate multiple projects, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment. Effective verbal and written communication skills to interact professionally with customers, field staff, vendors, and internal teams. Working knowledge of project coordination processes, including scheduling, material logistics, and construction/service workflows, along with familiarity managing project documentation such as RFIs, submittals, change orders, and billing files. Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn and utilize software such as PlanGrid and Bluebeam. Demonstrated attention to detail and accuracy in maintaining documentation and system records. Ability to problem-solve, follow through, and proactively support project progress. Capacity to adapt quickly, provide cross-functional support when needed, and develop foundational knowledge in estimating, job costing, and technical project concepts. Ability to work independently while supporting teams.
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE
Associate degree in Electrical Construction, Electrical Design or Engineering or like field of study required. Preferred Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Construction Management or like field of study (preferred). Foreman field experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS & WORK ENVIRONMENT
Professional office environment with periodic site visits (PPE required). Must be able to travel to and physically navigate construction sites. Must be able to work on a computer for extended periods. Occasionally lift up to 25 lbs., sit, stand, bend, stoop, or kneel as needed. Must maintain regular, predictable attendance and be available to work outside of standard business hours as needed.
