Project Engineer / Estimator  We are seeking an experienced Project Engineer / Estimator to support projects from preconstruction through completion. This role bridges estimating, project management, and field operations by helping turn plans and opportunities into successful projects. Responsibilities Review plans, specifications, and contract documents Perform quantity takeoffs and develop cost estimates Evaluate subcontractor and supplier pricing Assist with bid preparation and project handoff Track project costs, quantities, schedules, and documentation Support submittals, RFIs, and change orders Coordinate with project managers, field teams, owners, engineers, and vendors Identify risks, solve problems, and support successful project execution Qualifications Experience in civil construction, estimating, project engineering, or project management Ability to read and interpret construction plans and specifications Strong organizational, analytical, and communication skills Detail-oriented with a proactive approach to problem-solving Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction-related software Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred; equivalent industry experience considered Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Bloomsdale, MO. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $35.00/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.
