As an R D Engineer III - Mechanical, you will be responsible for taking machine design projects from conception through production release.What You'll Do:
Develop mechanical components and subsystems through the process of investigation, specification development, design, analysis, and testing. Achieve reliable function at low cost through the selection of part configurations, materials, and manufacturing processes Conceptualize and design innovative solutions to problems in the auto service industry Ensure structural integrity and compliance with safety standards Analyze solutions and designs to ensure requirements are met Document technical calculations and testing for agency approval Additional duties as assigned.What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering Professional Engineer license is a plus 7+ years minimum structural machine design experience. Must be a proactive, creative self-starter, proficient with CAD (Creo preferred), and have experience with mechanism design, structural design and analysis, machined metal parts, material and heat treat. General knowledge of automobiles and their suspension systems is helpful.What We Offer:
