As our site development work continues to expand, we are adding a Site Development Civil Engineer to our team in St. Joseph, Missouri. This is an excellent opportunity for an established career engineer who wants more impactful experience, meaningful project involvement, and direct exposure to clients. You'll contribute to a wide range of site development projects while building the technical and professional skills needed to grow your career. Responsibilities What You'll Do
- Contribute and support in the planning, design, and development of site development projects for public and private clients
- Lead and assist in preparing site plans, grading, drainage, and utility designs
- Develop project scopes, schedules, and cost estimates
- Collaborate with clients, regulatory agencies, and internal design teams
- Stay involved throughout the full project lifecycle — from concept through construction
- Participate in and oversee the problem-solving and design discussions to deliver practical, high-quality solutions Additional Information

- 2+ years of experience in consulting or related civil engineering work
- Interest or experience in site development and site plan design
- Professional Engineer (PE) licensure (Missouri and/or Kansas preferred)
- Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a dynamic environment
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
