$70,000•$100,000, depending on experience Strong long-term growth opportunity with a stable and growing contractor Role Overview A growing civil construction contractor is seeking a Project Engineer to support the successful delivery of sitework and infrastructure projects across the region. This is a strong opportunity for someone early-to-mid career who wants to build their experience in project management, field coordination, and construction operations while working closely with experienced Superintendents and Project Managers. The right candidate will be organized, eager to learn, and comfortable operating between the office and the field. This role is ideal for someone who wants to grow within civil construction and gain hands-on exposure to how projects are built from the ground up. Key Responsibilities Support Project Managers and Superintendents with day-to-day coordination of active projects Assist with RFIs, submittals, change orders, project documentation, and reporting Help track project quantities, production, materials, and cost impacts Review plans, specifications, and scopes of work Coordinate with subcontractors, vendors, and field teams to keep work moving Support scheduling, procurement, and project closeout activities Assist with maintaining organized project records and communication Help identify field issues early and support resolution before they impact progress Ideal Background Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field preferred Experience in civil construction, sitework, excavation, utilities, or infrastructure projects is a plus Strong interest in learning project controls, field coordination, and construction operations Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications Comfortable working with spreadsheets, project tracking, and documentation Strong communication skills and a willingness to take ownership of tasks Why This Opportunity Stands Out Strong opportunity to learn directly from experienced construction leaders Exposure to meaningful sitework and civil projects with real responsibility Growing contractor where motivated people can make an impact and advance Team-oriented environment that values practical thinking, reliability, and follow-through Clear path for long-term growth within project management and operations If you are interested in this opportunity don't hesitate to apply!
