JOB SUMMARY

Assist Project Managers with construction design changes, progress, and updates.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor's degree in engineering (or similar field) or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

Experience in the electrical construction industry is preferred.

KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES

Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize and complete multiple projects in a timely manner. Must have a working knowledge of job cost tracking. Computer skills in the use of various Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must have excellent human relations skills and the ability to maintain confidentiality. Must be able to read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules. Must possess a thorough knowledge of document controls.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Track job costs and overall construction project progress. Read, interpret, and analyze construction schedules. Coordinate design changes within construction teams. Assist with preparation of change orders and maintenance of project change order logs. Assist with development and maintenance of project schedule. Assist with development and maintenance of submittals log and RFI logs. Prepare project submittals and submit written RFIs to client. Perform other tasks and special projects as assigned.
