  • The ideal candidate will bring expertise in several of the following areas: rotor design, structural analysis, finite element analysis, fracture mechanics, mechanical integrity, life assessment methodologies, turbomachinery, rotating equipment, and engineering automation tools.

Candidates who possess a strong foundation in structural analysis and rotating equipment design and are eager to further develop expertise in rotor integrity and fracture mechanics are encouraged to apply.

  • + Own design and integrity of critical rotor & compressor components using 1D, 2D, and 3D analysis to push performance and extend life + Level up the toolkit: build smarter structural design methods and bring new analytical approaches to life + Turn data into direction: analyze test results, field measurements, and fleet feedback to drive real improvements + Jump in when it matters: deliver fast, focused solutions to manufacturing challenges and customer needs + Lead through complexity: guide teams through high-stakes technical challenges and bold engineering decisions + Drive innovation: own R D efforts, partner with external experts, and manage outsourced projects to get cutting-edge ideas across the finish line •What You Bring•Required Qualifications•+ Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Aerospace Engineering, or a related engineering discipline.

+ 5+ years of experience in structural analysis, mechanical design, rotating equipment, turbomachinery, aerospace propulsion systems, or related engineering fields.

+ Must have mechanical integrity assessments, lifing methodologies, or component life management experience.

+ Hands-on experience performing finite element analysis (FEA) using

ANSYS, NX

Simcenter, or similar engineering analysis tools.

+ Experience evaluating complex mechanical systems and translating analysis results into practical engineering solutions.

+ Familiarity with rotating components, high-speed machinery, turbines, compressors, aerospace hardware, or similar equipment.

+ Demonstrated ability to analyze test data, field measurements, and operational performance information to support engineering decisions.

+ Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills with the ability to work effectively across multidisciplinary and global teams.

  • Preferred Qualifications
  • + Gas turbines, steam turbines, compressors, turbomachinery rotor design experience, diesel engines, pipelines, drill rigging equipment, or similar.

+ Knowledge of fracture mechanics, fatigue, crack growth, durability, and damage tolerance methodologies.

+ Experience with rotor and compressor component design and analysis.

+ Python or similar programming experience for engineering automation, data processing, and workflow optimization.

+ Experience developing new analytical tools, methods, or engineering processes.

+ Technical leadership experience supporting complex engineering programs, product development efforts, or R D initiatives.
