This individual will have the avenue to gain knowledge, experience, and grow their career. Candidate should be self-motivated and willing to be challenged in engaging and meaningful work. The right candidate is a degreed engineer with a structural engineering emphasis. Design experience in industrial and/or bridge projects is a plus. Duties will include preparation of design drawings, specifications, and reports, as well as generating studies and cost estimates. Successful candidates should have knowledge in designing structures using applicable codes (IBC, ASCE-7, AASHTO), and well as material design codes (AISC, ACI concrete, ACI masonry, etc.). Experience using design software (RISA, STAAD, LEAP Bridge, etc.), CAD, and spreadsheets are required. Your expertise in structural engineering codes and your proficiency with design software will be essential to your success in this role. You will also need to be a strong communicator and collaborator to work effectively with clients and team members.
