About us Gravatt Consulting Group Inc. is a small business in Forked River, NJ. We are a Civil Engineers, Land Surveyors & Planners since 1970.
Job Overview:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Civil Engineer to join our team. As a Civil Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, planning, and overseeing Site Plan, Subdivision and single family home projects. Your expertise will be crucial in ensuring the successful completion of various civil engineering projects.Duties:
- Design and prepare engineering plans using Carlson CAD software
- Conduct site investigations and analyze data
- Perform storm drainage calculations and analysis.
- Prepare technical reports and project documentation
- Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other professionals to ensure project specifications are met
- Manage project budgets and timelines
Skills:
To excel in this role, you should have the following skills:- Proficiency in CAD software for drafting and design purposes
- Strong knowledge of civil engineering principles and practices
- Experience with hydraulic analysis software.
- Excellent mathematical skills for calculations and analysis
- Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred but not required
