They are seeking a proactive Project Engineer who thrives in a self-perform, union construction environment and wants exposure to complex, high-impact work. Job Description Responsibilities Support Project Managers with day-to-day project operations Manage project documentation, submittals, RFIs, change orders, and closeout packages Coordinate with field personnel, subcontractors, suppliers, and clients Assist with project scheduling, cost tracking, and reporting Review plans and specifications to ensure project compliance Track procurement and material deliveries Participate in project meetings and maintain accurate records Help ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, and within budget Why consider it? The Successful Applicant A successful Project Engineer - Civil Construction should have: Experience with civil construction projects and processes. Strong organizational and time-management skills. Proficiency in project management software and tools. Knowledge of safety regulations and quality standards in construction. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities. A degree in civil engineering, construction management, or a related field. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or related field preferred 1+ years of construction experience, internships included Experience with a heavy civil, sitework, utility, environmental, or self-perform contractor preferred Familiarity with union construction environments is a plus Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills Proficiency with Microsoft Office and construction management software Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment What's on Offer Competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 USD.
