$65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience A multidisciplinary civil engineering, surveying, and construction management firm serving clients across New Jersey and the New York metro area is hiring a Civil Engineer to support its site/civil design and land development practice. You'll assist with permitting, planning, and design across stormwater management, grading and drainage, utility design, and construction administration, and get hands-on with AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings, engineering calculations, and site inspections. This is an in-person, career-track role at a growing firm with real room to advance. Responsibilities Assist in the preparation of project deliverables, including AutoCAD Civil 3D drawings, engineering calculations, reports, and technical specifications Support permit acquisition, land development planning and design, stormwater management, grading and drainage design, and utility design Perform periodic construction site inspections, including contract conformance inspections, SWPPP inspections, and existing site conditions assessments Collaborate with engineers and surveyors on multi-discipline project teams Communicate directly with clients, project teams, and contractors throughout design and construction Manage time, scheduling, and priorities across multiple active projects Required Qualifications S. in Civil Engineering 2+ years of relevant stormwater and site development design, construction, and permitting experience Proficiency with AutoCAD and AutoCAD Civil 3D Familiarity with local ordinance codes and state stormwater management design manuals Familiarity with municipal permitting processes Valid driver's license and reliable transportation Strong written and verbal communication skills Preferred M.S. in Civil Engineering Compensation and Benefits $65,000 - $85,000, commensurate with experience Paid time off 401(k) Health insurance Tuition reimbursement Real path to advance with a growing multidisciplinary firm This is a confidential search conducted on behalf of the hiring company.
