Job Description
#Eng-IT-01 Job Summary The Engineering Specialist I is responsible for supporting design, analysis, and project execution activities under the guidance of senior engineers. This entry-level position applies fundamental engineering principles to perform tasks, contribute to project deliverables, and develop technical skills through hands-on experience and mentorship. Responsibilities Perform basic design and engineering tasks using standard techniques and procedures. Assist with calculations, analysis, and preparation of engineering deliverables. Support the development of reports, permit applications, and technical documentation. Participate in field activities, including site visits and data collection. Develop foundational knowledge of engineering concepts, tools, and industry standards. Gain mentored experience under the supervision of licensed engineers. Collaborate with engineers and project team members to support project objectives. Engage in limited stakeholder interaction as appropriate. Follow all health and safety requirements, including OSHA standards for fieldwork. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program required. 0-2 years of relevant experience (internships or academic project experience preferred). Working toward Engineer-in-Training (EIT) certification preferred. OSHA 10-hour Construction certification required for fieldwork.
