The Project Engineer is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing project work. Reporting to the Area Manager, the Project Engineer ensures projects are executed with precision, detail, and exceptional quality. The Project Engineer partners with all levels of the organization to operate in a safe and efficient manner. Key Responsibilities include but are not limited to: 1. Review and manager the development and execution of work plans for ongoing and planned projects. 2. Review and determine the proper staffing and human capital needed for each project and to assign. 3. Provide input and recommendations to project contracts and overall processes. 4. Adhering to the project schedule. 5. Review and provide input for project modifications and change orders. 6. Provide technical assistance to the organization when requested. 7. Manage and ensure all employees are working safely. Provide additional training to enhance safety and employee performance.
Required Qualifications:
1. Bachelor's degree in engineering 2. At least three (3) Years of experience working in construction. 3. Ability to work independently and to make well justified decisions. 4. Proficiency in Microsoft Office software programs. 5. Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in an articulate and professional manner. 6. 30 Hour OSHA Construction training.
Physical Requirements and Work Environment:
1. This position is an office and field-based role. Incumbent must be comfortable working outdoors in all weather conditions. Preferred Qualifications 1. Prior experience working with transit organizations (PAYNY, MTA, LIRR, NYCT). 2. Prior experience supporting geotechnical projects which include foundations, soil consolidation, or jet grouting.
Salary Range:
$100,000 - $130,000
Note:
This range represents the low and high end of the anticipated salary for this position. The base salary range listed is what Sovereign Hydroseal believes it will pay for this role at the time of this positing. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors which include professional credentials, technical expertise, field experience, and education.
