Job Description
Commercial Construction Project Engineer

- Base Salary to 110k/year
- Goldens Bridge, NY Our client is an established commercial general contractor and construction management firm seeking a Commercial Construction Project Engineer to support large-scale ground-up commercial construction projects throughout the tri-state area.
Responsibilities:
Manage project document control, including submittal logs, submittal schedules, construction documents, and project records. Review, process, and coordinate submittals, RFIs, shop drawings, change documentation, and correspondence for subcontractors and vendors. Coordinate subcontractor, vendor, trade, MEP, and scope activities using approved submittals and coordination drawings. Assist with constructability reviews, project planning, scheduling coordination, and scope management throughout construction. Attend project meetings and coordinate communication between project teams, subcontractors, vendors, architects, engineers, and owners. Provide project coordination and administrative support as assigned by the Project Manager.Qualifications:
2+ years of experience supporting large commercial construction projects. Experience coordinating project documentation, submittals, RFIs, contractors, vendors, and trade scopes. Strong analytical, organizational, problem-solving, and communication skills. Proficiency with Microsoft Office. Ability to work a flexible schedule and collaborate effectively on active commercial construction projects.Compensation:
Base salary in the 80k- 110k/year range.
